Character: Rosy single inclined or square crystal,soluble in acid or ammonium salt, insoluble in water and alkali. It  can be changed to cobalt soap when meets with some organic acid.
Use: It can be used to make cobalt salt,catalytic agent containing cobalt hydrogen peroxide disintegrates by electrolytic process,paint drier and coloring agent.
